Presently trying out

Dropbox is a cool idea (syncing the content of folders between several computers over the internet) – I got an invitation yesterday and have just started using it, but so far it’s working flawlessly. And it’s fast!

Evernote is a note-taking system with a twist. Not only can you jot down notes, but it also recognizes any text (printed or hand-written) in an image! Imagine adding a photo of a street corner with a visible street address – you’ll be able to search for a particular string of text, and the app will come up with the photo and highlight the exact text. Evernote is a combination of an app living locally on your computer and a web hosted account, so you’ll have access to all your notes even if you’re not at your computer.

At the moment I’m also trying out Tumblr. Not sure if yet another place in the cloud is a good idea, but I’m slightly seduced by the whole idea of tumblelogs.

Hi and welcome to my online bricolage. Here I’ll go on about anything from music to software and photography. It is essentially an online addition of sorts to my own personal diary.
